On the West Side of Dennis
      #41310 - Sun Jul 10 2005 03:29 AM

I live on the Rigolets, near the MS/LA border, in the easternmost part of Orleans Parish in New Orleans. We'll be experiencing the west side of Dennis.
Most people I know have decided to stay for this one, which doesn't appear to be too much of a threat. So if you want to hear, let me know.

We were also here for tropical storm Cindy, which gave us a direct hit on July 5th.
The eye of Cindy passed 3 miles from our house, which is on an island between Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Borgne. If you want any Cindy info, I can tell you what it was like right in the center.
