Mexican Volcano activity increases- Popocateptl volcano

Mexico officials have increased the Alert level for the Popocatepetl volcano.
The current Alert Level is a 3, out of 5. Or 5 out of 7 citing CENAPRED, Mexico's National Center for Prevention of Disasters (Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres, or CENAPRED).

Popocateptl is located in the Mexican state of Puebla, and is situated about 41 miles SE of Mexico City,MX: 160 miles west of Veracruz and 500 miles SSW of Brownsville,TX.

Popocat is to the lower left of the Sun, black dot in the clouds. The clouds and ash plume give the Sun a strange appearance. At first glance I though the black dot was ejected lava rock or pumice.
