This wave has an interesting yin-yang kind of appearance and distribution of moisture. Looks like it is pouring to the south and eastern portions of the state, while the west and north are dry. We had some showers that built up in eastern Polk county and looked on radar to be a threat to us here in Hillsborough, but by the time they got here, most of the moisture was squeezed out and they were just scattered light at best. We need the rain here too, but as long as the center of low pressure stays east of us, I fear we will get very little.
