Tropical Storm Erin Lounge

A tropical wave associated with an elongated area of low pressure that has just exited the western tip of Africa and entered the extreme eastern Atlantic is now being tracked as Invest 93L.

Invest 93L is expected to treck generally west-northwest. Dry and dusty air has largely exited this region, and a few models suggest gradual development is very possible.

This is where to put our mid to long range thoughts on 93L's potential for further development, intensity, and forecast track. Longer range model output discussions are also appropriate here.

(Edited to reflect upgrade to named storm)
