93L has been designated PTC EIGHTEEN today by NHC, with now 80% development odds (into a tropical or subtropical cyclone). It is very nearly there tonight, although might not have a well-enough defined center just yet.

Regardless of classification, EIGHTEEN is likely to bring tropical storm conditions to portions of Cuba, the Bahamas and perhaps south Florida.
