The gusts in Seminole (Pinellas County) are now up to 30mph and we are experiencing intermittent heavy rain squalls. The next organized squall looks like it will arrive around 11pm, and I expect to see the first tropical storm force gusts at this time. St. Petersburg reported a wind gust of 38mph in the last squall. My rainfall total for this event is 2.75 inches. We might get a break after this next squall, but expect to see another band form overnight in response to diurnal convection.
