what happened with 91L

okay.. so the system just barely closed off at landfall. still the lowest slp's were like 1012-1013 mb, and land stations generally reported peak winds around 20kt (offshore scattered 25kt winds). the recon found a patch of gales, can only wonder what the extent was. doesn't seem terribly representative of what we saw. this thing is right on the fence. i reckon it won't be post-analyzed as a tropical cyclone, but will probably get honorable mention in the monthly review.

it's going to track across the chesapeake bay late in the evening. maybe it'll keep getting mention in the outlooks, at least. -HF
