The remnants of Ingrid are showing some increased convection this evening. As it moves slowly north it will be coming out of the strong shear which has torn it apart the past four days. In the next few days conditions should reverse itself and Ingrid may start making a comeback as it comes underneath high pressure in the upper levels. The NRL site continues to monitor it and has a nice close-up of it. Not sure if it will ever be a U.S. threat, though, a ridge of high pressure to it's north may put it on a westward path for a while. |
