That looked more interesting yesterday, but still worth watching.

I've been watching the Saharan Air Layer and its associated dust following the wave. If that reaches Florida and the Southern East coast, it's going to be a really uncomfortable first week of August.

The dust can also be seen in the vis sat loops.

It does seem that the strong NE or ENE winds coming off the Saharan region have relaxed in the last few days, though. I wouldn't be too surprised to see the season blossom, as it were.
