Area of Interest: Invest 93L

A region of weak low pressure associated with decayed or decaying frontal zones south of Brownsville, Tx. is now being tracked as Invest 93L.

As of 3:45PM EDT Sep. 16, Invest 93L was centered near 26N 96W, with movement generally to the northeast at around 10-15 MPH.

This feature has some potential to become a subtropical or tropical cyclone before it pushes inland over the Gulf coast and/or Florida panhandle next week.

Regardless of any further development, locally heavy rains and blustery conditions are likely in affected areas as early as Monday.
