Model verification

Here are a couple interesting links which are actually a response to a post I made a couple days ago on the main board.. I was inquiring about statistics which evaluate model performance and if and where they exist. After I posted I have been googling and turned these up. Someone here a whole lot smarter than me can help evaluate some of this data but what I think I can figure out from these links is the ECMWF has the least amount of error.
