Bay of Campeche

A surface front is digging southeastward into the Gulf of Mexico. A weak surface low is noted at the southern end of the front in the western Bay of Campeche along the shoreline at 21N 97W. Strong southwesterly windshear exists in the vicinity of the frontal zone.
