Hurricane Models

i've been using the google .kmz file from Tropicalatlantic.com to dump into GoogleEarth and create some visual tools for our County leadership.
but i notice that those models are not updated on a real regular basis anymore.

Anyone have sources for model data in kml or kmz formats?

Re: Hurricane Models

With all the crazy weather records being broken these days, is it possible that a cat 6 hurricane could happen in the near future on our planet and did a system come close to reaching threshold in the past Just putting out it out there

Re: Hurricane Models

I think Dorian 2019 might have reached the Cat 6 status at least for a short time What do you Mets think ? There's a lot of smart people out there who are wondering what our weather future might be with all the climate changes that are going on. For me living in Florida a landfall hurricane near me of that magnitude scared me to the bone. I was 50 miles away when it turned NE Just a thought Be smart

Re: Hurricane Models

Is there such a thing as a Category 6 hurricane?
Is there a Category 6 hurricane? No. Although there has been interest shown on search engines for a Category 6 hurricane classification, there is no such category on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind scale. This is HYPE.
