Experimental Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook

Excuse me for asking what might be all too obvious:

I just noticed a new link at the very top of the NHC's main page, titled "Experimental Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook", that I havent noticed before.

How long has that been there? Maybe I just haven't been too perceptive, or maybe it's a new feature they just came out with. But then again, I've been pretty wrapped up writing about Cosme, in the "Other Basins" forum, these past few days.

I like it. It seems very 'intuitive' and there is also a link in the lower left corner for a similar product for the EastPac basin.

And the "(learn more)" link provides an excellent description of the product.

And perhaps this post will alert more people who haven't noticed it yet.

These guys ... Always thinking. My hats off to them!

Re: Experimental Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook

The link has been there for some time but if you clicked it you were told it would be activated on (I forget the date) which had already passed. They moved the link slightly the other day and yes, I agree, it is intuitive and a good idea. There is another link at the bottom....feedback....I recommend that we all USE that link and tell them 'atta-boy/girl' ...

Note: This is NOT an official page. It is run by weather hobbyists and should not be used as a replacement for official sources.
