Lee Near Vermillion Bay moving Inland

Am I wrong to think that all the rain from Lee could help scour out some of the remaining oil contamination from the south Louisiana wetlands? Anybody have any insight on this?

I don't know about scouring it out, but it probably could serve to break it up/disperse it some more. Of course, it could also scatter it into previously untouched areas.
