I've got this link bookmarked now http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/FIRE/fires-fl-ir4-loop.html It's a color-enhanced satellite loop for just Florida. High quality. If something does spin up out of this, or anythng else comes our way this season, I'll be checking it out regularly.

Wow, some one resurrected this thread from a year ago???

Any ways, rather than placing my comments on the main page as I feel that area is for crucial and vital information...all I simply will say is that it is now raining where I live on the east coast in St. Lucie County, FL. I am 2 counties above Palm Beach County and the sky appears to be offering a slow yet steady rain fall.

I am very grateful as we really need the rain and, our County is adjacently east to Lake Okeechobee.

We had copious amounts of rain over night in Lakeland. Everytime I thought the rain was over, it would start again. I am doing the happy dance, since my plants were almost gone. They seem to be coming back and I almost have grass again. I will not resent lawn mowing this season after that drought was so strong. Bring on the mower and bring on the gas prices as long as we got rain, we got hope!
