Feedback problem

I tried to send you feedback, but this is what your confirmation page showed:

Thank you for Your Comments -- CFHC
Below is what you submitted to the Central Florida Hurricane Center on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at 11:32:49

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

message: I'm not sure I've ever seen a better web site...on any subject. As a private pilot and ground flight instructor, I have had a more than passing interest in weather for many years. I have perused your site for years, but your new software and format takes the cake for accolades...it is very very good. Is there anything that can be improved? Probably, but I am hard pressed to find such things at the moment. Keep up the good work! Richard PS...what is the difference between a 'Registered' and a 'Verified' user?

Oops, this is fixed now. Thanks for the report. This got broken when we redid some of those pages last weekend.

And there are plenty of improvements left to be made. I'm not even halfway done with the planned changes.

As I said in my E-mail reply to you, I can't believe you were able to react so rapidly.

I just want to say, In Public, "Well Done".

As a computer professional, aviation enthusiast and instructor, and weather freak...ummm...and just a plain freak, I am aware of the great effort you have put in on this site. I have lurked for a very long time, but I felt I could no longer continue without a heartfelt THANKS for a job well done, to you and all of your contributers.

Richard

Richard,

In reply to your question about Verified User vs Registered User it all depends on the # of posts you make. We just kind of made a little joke of it. Here it is and also can be found under "Posting FAQ":

The # is number of posts a users makes:

0 Registered User
10 Verified CFHC User
25 Weather Watcher
50 Weather Hobbiest
100 Weather Guru
200 Storm Tracker
400 Weather Master
700 Storm Chaser
1200 Veteran Storm Chaser
1600 Knows everyone at the NHC
2500 Is the weather

Much thanks. Musta missed that in the FAQ. I actually *did* read it, but that tidbit didn't stick apparantly....
