Just a reminder and not directed toward anyone. It seems this has to be done several times during the season. When posting be sure you are posting in the correct forum.... stay on topic for the Main News page.... check the FAQ and links to see if a question has been answered prior to your post... and check your spelling before posting.... and if you disagree or otherwise have a dispute regarding a post do your best to keep it off the board and use the PM feature to resolve it... that is it.. just a recap of the same old stuff...that is really important...

WOW...CMC pops up a Strong TS in BOC in a few days... and looks like it heads towards SE TX.
looks like it comes across the southern Yucatan into BOC.

CMC 144hr 00Z

**note 12Z run earlier has the system farther south... or the 00Z has shifted more to the north in this run... *** same general...track... across the southern yucatan,,,into the BOC.... looked at some other models at a glance and seems like CMC is the only right now with this feature....

This won't be the first time this season ... CMC is getting to be annoying. For whatever reasons, it really likes buiding something up in the BOC again, and again, and again. Still, I give it ops for doing a good job with Alberto, so perhaps 1 out of 4 coming up for it's handling of the bay...

ya I see that two but the wave near africa has sustained its swirl but no convection for the moment. Nightly phase, I expect a flare up tommorrow and making it an area of Invest. It's also went from nw movement to a due west according to the satellite...

also Look at that impressive swirl in it. Still needs to be watched closely. It's starting to move more westward which is taking it out of the dry atmosphere for now. Global models may be changing soon adding this storm to the maps!

nogaps also shows something forming in the BOC. Interesting, we'll see if it sticks in later runs or starts to show up in the other models.
