DOES IT SEEM LIKE THE STORM IS EAST OF THE PROJECTED PATH?

so help me understand.

all day long this thing gets more organized, all the talk from NHC was about it becoming better organized
and then suddenly it falls apart. what causes this?

I don't see it falling apart... It is certainly holding its strength and Pressure is dropping hour by hour.
Remember, Ernesto was a TD when it came off the East Coast of Florida, and now it has doubled its strength with winds of 70mph, near Hurricane strength, 70-75 mph winds doesn't really change anything.
You guys in NC will get a more stronger storm than we did here in South Florida. So, stay safe!
