Tropical Storm Oscar Forms in East Atlantic, No Threat to Land
      #94004 - Thu Oct 04 2012 07:37 AM

Tropical storm Nadine is headed for post tropical, after many days of meandering in the open Atlantic, at the same time Tropical Storm Oscar forms, south of there.

Some Tropical Storm/Gale winds are being felt in the Azores, but nothing damaging.

Neither of these systems are threats to land, and in the short term, there is nothing close by worth watching.

And, Oscar is another (one of many this year) highly sheared system. It seems that nearly all of this season's storms have had to deal with shearing conditions for much of their duration.
