Fabian growing by the minute. This is a very healthy looking storm and is now a strong cat 3! Nice outflow/inflow with anticyclone nearly overhead. Wouldn't doubt if this is a cat 4 tomorrow as shear will remain under 10 kts the next few days. With a general wobbly movement west or wnw.
Now comes the BIG question mark, where does Fabian go as it moves north of the islands? I think it heads generally west or slightly north of west through the short term, passing just north of the islands and moving more nw. Now I start to wonder, will the trough forecasted to move towards the east coast pull out leaving Fabian to slow north of Caribbean as it waits for trough to pull out. Then the ridge builds back in and Fabian moves more westerly again? Or does the trough have the power to pull Fabian more northward? The ridge is pretty strong and theres just to many question marks and probaly won't know much on where it will go until things evolve more next week. Just a wait and see...
Grace has really waned this evening and isn't much to look at now as is broad and elongated, but could pull together some late tonight and tomorrow before landfall.
