Just a note from the NWS in Jacksonville. They also are kinda throwing a flag at Fabian going way out into the Atlantic. They note that they are very confident that the surf will pick up a bunch by late next week, a sign that they havn't stuck a fork into our Cat3 yet. He would have to get past 70W to make much of an impact on our surf, and their talking like this weakness in the ridge might not be as weak as first thought. In fact, they hinted that it might not happen at all, with the cold front getting hung up much farther north. Maybe the first hint of trouble, maybe nothing.
