This site is not accurate. The statement at the top says passing fabian within 600 miles. Andrew at 50W was at about 14.7N which I believe would put him within the area.
Connie in 1955 is the one that is closest to Fabian in track and the good news even though she was a Cat4, when she made landfall it was only a Cat1
