Current forcasts has Isabel hitting near Norfolk VA or just south of there. My current thinking and offical forcast has her just N of there near Ocean City Maryland or the Bay. A current NNW motion should continue with a bend to the NW or even wnw up the bay. Main issue will be the storm surge possibly up the Bay. Also many tornados during landfall and over the next day into late Friday and saturday. Alot of downed power lines near landfall. Winds I suspect will be near 100mph in a very narrow stretch just n and ne of the eye. The w side might not even get up to 75mph. In any affect,,,this is still going to be a hurricane going up the Bay to Baltimore then N to visit Niagra falls. Of course alot weaker wind wise by then. scottsvb
