Curious, but which models are you looking at?
18Z GFDL, nogaps, avn as well as the superesemble trend it south of Tampa, only a few like the bamm , clipper, and other baroclinic models trend it further west (and only a few of that) Majority still point to a west coast florida landfall right now, and gfdl especially has trended more abrupt of a recurve.
