Probably due to the pressure gradient between Gamma and the cold front over the Panhandle. The earlier AFDs mentioned the possibility (probability?) of the winds increasing tomorrow and Sunday. The combination of the two systems in close proximity should give some strong breezes over the southern half of the Peninsula at least.
