Well I'm sure Kerry has nothing to say about the way Time writes the articles. In a separate article put out by Reuters Miami on global warming and hurricanes just yesterday, Max was quoted out of context, making it sound like he is of the opinion that global warming is contributing to more intense hurricanes. Let's start a "media myth" thread somewhere to clear up misconceptions about hurricane science that are generated by the media.
Also did anyone read about the new evac plan proposed by NOLA's Nagin (in short, it is basically, "hit the road, jack"). The claim is that he'll have transportation for all people/pets the next time 'round, but only just to get out of town; after they get off the bus, train, whatever, it's someone else's problem (didn't they try that in one of the towns in the movie, "Silverado?"). However, that's one small step better than he did last time.
