WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAMPA BAY AREA - RUSKIN FL 155 PM EDT MON JUN 5 2006
FRIDAY IS PROBLEMATIC IN THAT VARIOUS MODELS AND MODEL RUNS ARE ONCE AGAIN TRYING TO DEVELOP LOW PRESSURE IN THE BAHAMAS ON AN OLD BOUNDARY. THERE MAY BE ENOUGH BAROCLINIC HELP TO DEVELOP A NON-TROPICAL LOW...BUT SHEAR IS STILL TOO STRONG FOR SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT. THE OVERALL DETAILS OF THE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY WILL BE DEPENDENT ON HOW MUCH...IF ANY...DEVELOPMENT OCCURS.
