Another season has begun...offically june 1st but our first TD looks ripe for development by tomorrows recon...and they could find winds already at or above TS status as winds in t-storms are near 40-45mph. More consolidation of the low today into Saturday and a northward drift along the west side of the Atlantic ridge over the next 2 days. After that..still too early to tell where it will go once in the gulf...models are still split but question will be how strong it will be by Monday morning and location of the shortwave trough over the Mississippi delta affecting the nw part of the ridge will determin its path to the NE across florida or more N towards LA or TX. We will know more by Sunday.
