As we watch what may June 10, 2006 become our first Tropical Disturbance of 2006 it I was wondering ...
When we view tracking maps and read or hear forecasts how do we know which to value most?
Has anyone evaluated the various tracking systems and the track record of AccuWeather and the Weather Channel and NWS and others for their accuracy in 2005?
There sometimes appears to be more hype and noise from some sources than others but little obvious accountability for accuracy.
Sure would be nice to know ... :-) doc in west central Florida
