Quote: How so very many people constantly talk about the weather and pick it apart at the bone. All I want to know is what it is and where is it going. I've never seen so many folks online at one time sharing about such mathematical and scientific stuff.
I'm also a life-long native, but I'm only 35.
What you can't control, you do your best to understand. Some people want to just know the bare basics, and that's fine. Some of us know we can't do anything but wait and watch, so while we are at least we are trying to understand it.
I like watching NASCAR sometimes. (Not so much anymore.) But there are people who do in-depth studies on cars. Ditto football. It's okay, but you have fantasy football leagues. It's just how different people are.
It's not cheerleading, it's just an attempt to get a grasp on the ungraspable and understand it better.
Now, if you can tell me how to get rid of the bugs plaguing my poor squash plants.....*LOL*
