I respect your opinion lpat, but I disagree with your sentiment. The high level of discussion on this forum is the best thing about this site, and it is why I have frequented this site for so long. There are very few places on the Internet where weather enthusiasts can discuss the weather with such knowledgeable people. Many of the users and moderators on here are meteorologists and I am thankful for their contributions because I know that they are under no obligation to share their insights in their free time. I have learned much from their analyses, and it has made my tropical weather enthusiasm a more fulfilling experience. There are plenty of Internet sites and television stations where one can find dumbed down reporting of the weather. People come here because they want more, and because they are interested in learning more about these fascinating beasts we call hurricanes.
