I've noticed the small vortex that rotated south off the coast of Cozumel earlier today has held together throughout the day. Just recently it became obscured by clouds, but I am thinking that this persistent feature might become the dominant LLC. There is considerable convective activity in the area. If this is the case, then there will be a significant relocation to the south, and a slower progression than originally thought. Could be my imagination, but just thought I would post this observation.
