That's a very healthy looking "swirl" there and tightly wound.
As for direction. I wondered earlier if it was beginning a loop and now I'm not sure it isn't changing directions.
I wouldn't count this storm out just because for now the "weather mass" isn't wrapped in.. with something so tightly wound, it wouldn't take much of a lessening of shear for those clouds to wrap up more.
Thundering outside... trying to take a break for a bit.. it might only be a minimal TS but it is an official Named Storm Day isn't it?
