It appears that the center of circulation is becoming so unattached from the convection that Alberto is going to hang out in the Gulf for a while. Probably the convection associated will continue on the forecast track but the llc which is Alberto is not showing that same course. The CMC, UK Met and NOGAPS all have Alberto heading between the western FL panhandle and the Louisiana coast. I agree with Clark....all areas should stay informed.
