Chris is looking better than it did this morning, but still pretty sickly overall. Since it takes awhile for a tropical low to spin down, the fact that it looks better now does not necessarily mean it is any stronger than it was earlier. At this point, it is just trying to put the brakes on the weakening trend. It has a better chance of surviving, though, as long as convection is maintained somewhere near the center. If it does not starting gaining more latitude, it will have to deal with the land mass of Cuba as well.
