Quote: Claudette was a Cape Verde type storm that encountered wind shear, went over Hispanola and Cuba as a wave, and reformed in the Gulf. She left $400 million dollars in damage in TX/LA. Highest total of rainfall reported was in Alvin, Texas, 42 inches. Anyway, I was just wondering if Chris could pull a "Claudette" on us or if it is pretty sure he will not survive.
Only time will tell but after what we saw last year, any tropical system can be a threat, so we will have to watch it closely.
