I have usually found the LBAR to be a useless model with regard to tropical cyclones - Usually want to stick with your GFS, BAMS (the "shallow" BAM), GFDL, and the like on Chris. Others all have their good and bad points, but truly, I rate the utility of the LBAR at something close to zero.
