This years fourth Tropical Storm, Debby, has formed in the far eastern Atlantic, although most likely destined to never affect the US, it does have a very good chance at becoming this year's first hurricane. See Clark's blog below for more information.
The wave (97L) east of the Caribbean islands hasn't really gained much overnight, but still has the chance to become a depression over the next few days. But I suspect any development here would be slow to occur. Those in the east Caribbean should watch it.
