I sure hope history isn't repeating itself, track-wise, although it's beginning to look like it mght. Several of the computer models show a track very close to the track of Ivan (putting the system in the general vicinity of Jamaica in about 120hrs, with 100mph winds). Our nice, quiet hurricane season is about to be shattered to pieces I fear.
Also, while there is no obvious LLC with 97L, the satellite presentaton in terms of convection makes Debby look pretty sick.
