Over the last 12+ hours(2AM-2PM) Ernesto tracked 1.7degN and 1.4degW, pretty close to true NW(nothing near due west). Also, it's tracked much more north over the past 6 hours, moving 1.1degN and .4degW. It is looking better on the loops, but Haiti and Cuba took so much out of the system that it's spent much of its time in the Florida Straits just trying to hold together.
