Claudette was forecast to be an open wave by Bastardi , then watching tv one day I found him taking credit for forecasting rapid intensification prior to landfall. This am on the radio I heard him warning Floridians to watch out for TD6.This for 15 dollars a month? Now it is back to being a wave. No one I could find predicted the depression to a wave scenario . Predictions more than 3 days out are worthless and I may lower that to 24hrs soon. We are better watching the nesting of birds and certain flowering plants when forecasting hurricanes. We badly need rain in Stuart Fl this summer and are not getting it .
