Nice blowup of convection today south of PR. Why would JB put the wave crossing north over hispaniola? Does seem like the strongest convection is heading in that direction, but a wave spans hundreds of miles from north to south. He must think the departing ULL will leave a void for the wave (or whatever it may become) to move into. Don't have access to his site $$ just wondering what that thought process would be. Cheers!! BTW, looks like an area of low pressure coming off Africa near the Cape Verdes.
