That sudden blow-up of convection reminds me of Jerry in '95. Formed just off the coast of Miami and traversed the state. Probably will be nothing coming from this today, but Steve had mentioned when it gets into the Gulf this may be a precursor to the potential for some development later on. Other than that, looks like a slow week for us watchers.
