it has been way too hot over here in England... on Sunday we broke the UK record high temp... with a peak of 38.1'C / 100.6'F. It is cooling down now... but we had 7 consecutive days with temperatures in excess of 32'C / 90'F. Not as bad here as in mainland Europe though
As for the disturbance in the Bahamas... i wouldnt be surprised to see it classified following this Recon flight. Satellite imagery shows it remains quite well organised, with a core of deep convection near Great Abaco Island.
