That's right Shan. The forward speed (especially something moving at 24-25mph) would ordinarily be an inhibiting factor on development, and that may prove to be the case. However, TPC forecaster Lawrence said in the 7am discussion that the models all forecast a slowdown. This could allow for intensification. We'll have to see if that comes to fruition or not because it has major implications on what we end up with.
