Long time lurker; first time poster. First great web page, very informative I appreciate all the Mets. I am in Delray Beach, FL
I got gas and batteries yesterday (no lines). Woman at Walgreens thought I was crazy for getting batteries and new flash lights. Drove home from work today, almost all gas stations were out of gas. My office has 5 gallon water bottles so I "Borrowed" one to supplement our supply.
Luckily my house has impact glass and I have a natural gas generator, so all we really have to do is bring outdoor items indoors or move them closer to the house so they are out of the wind. Because of all the recent rain, I will have to lower the pool tomorrow as well.
I'm one of those people who keep the house in shape year round, so when these things happen, I can be ready (I hope).
