Not a bad couple of days...
      #34430 - Fri Nov 12 2004 02:16 AM

Lets see...

Since the last hurricane struck Florida, a number of VERY IMPORTANT events have taken place...

The Red Sox Won the World Series (congratulations, Bahstin, 86 years is a LLLLOOOONNNNNGGGGG time to wait). Enjoy your glory...just don't party so hard your police have to kill you.

A contentious election was decided by the people, not the supreme court. And the right man won.

The coalition (thanks Russia, France & Germany...guess what...YOU'RE not going to get any rebuilding contracts) has overtaken the city of Fallujah, further paving the way to free & democratic elections in the nation of Iraq.

The Stock Market has rebounded nicely since W got reelected.

Ashcroft is GONE!

and...

ARAFAT IS DEAD! Anyone who thinks this isn't an important event need only remember that this was the man who led these people, as seen on September 11, 2001:

Not to be rude??? Please, someone come on these boards and tell me why the whole world (sans a few sick terrorist empathizers) wouldn't be glad he's dead...After OBL & Saddam (and their followers), who has most affected peace in the world for the last 20+ years? Even Ghadaffi has recognized the errors of his ways. Khumeni...Idi Amin...Castro...Aristide...Marcos...Mao...Deng...Khruschev...all evil but no where near as bad as Arafat.

Don't apologize Spike...
