Re: Tornado Watch #41

...despite A Strong Low Level Jet And A Tongue Of Upper Level
Divergence Over The Region...low Level Winds Have Veered Around To A
Unidirectional Profile. Any Further Storms That Develop Later This
Aftn Will Still Have The Possibility Of Producing Damaging Winds...
But The Threat For Tornadoes Has Diminished. Thus Tornado Watch 41
Is Discontinued For West Central And Southwest Florida.

Whew... I am a bit glad that it is over at last. Didn’t even see a water spout, but the anticipation of these things stresses me out. Sarasota and Polk County got hit hard. I was just on the outer fringes of it, and was spared the more interesting side of the outbreak. Now everyone in the north east has to deal with this system in an entierly different form.
