Fri. 8/11: 10:30am tornado warning for Venice, FL

Okay, this is WEIRD! My weather radio alarm went off, I'm just a few miles south in Rotonda, beautiful skies, sunny, etc. I'm thinking what the H----??? I turned on the tv weather, just a TINY blip on the radar. Pulled up NWS, sure enough, there's the box. But the loop showed very little. I was able to zoom in with wunderground's radar and there's a tiny cell. But they didn't have the alert online yet when I went on.

Looking at the loop, it's a REALLY odd "line" you can see through the sweep. Very scattered, individual cells. Not at all what I would expect.
